A baby robin decided to take a break from learning to fly and landed on in our backyard (I believe on the rod for the clothes-line). Very cute, he was kind enough to pose for a few moments before taking off again.
It's great focus and I like how the bird looks like it's looking right into the camera. It's a very nice nature shot. Did you take any more? This is a nice "portrait" but it's nice to see animals acting like animals too.
I did take others, but I lost the disk they were on. This was taken a year or so ago when the robin kinda thunked out of it's nest, shook itself out, hopped up onto the wooden thing, gave me two minutes to run and get my camera and snap about four pictures, then flew off. I think the other ones were a bit blurry, sadly.
I don't have a cell phone, or really want one. That sounds pretty silly, I guess, but I prefer not to stay connected to the rest of the world when I'm out and about, usually. Maybe one of those cheap plastic ones that take AA's though.
